The proxima is a closed aquarium combination. The aquarium is built with the best float glass and is finished off with a Varilux light support and bottom frame made from brushed aluminium. High-quality black sliding glass covers are fitted inside the top to give this aquarium an amazing look.

With each model having a width and depth of 50 cm each way, there is plenty of scope for aquascaping or an individual biotope design.

This fits neatly on to an aesthetically pleasing cabinet which is available in three different colours. The Gloss White, Urban (light grey) and Oak are stylish and trendy designs which will fit well into any modern home or office.

The cabinet is stable and offers you plenty of space for filters and accessories. These have handle-free doors with dampened 'push to open' door hinge technology, with one cabinet compartment having a shelf. This leaves room in the other compartment for an Eheim external canister filter to be installed (not included).

Lighting is supplied by two integrated, free-moving, energy efficient classic LED daylight strips (light colour 6500k), for which sunrise and sunset can be simulated by using adding a dimmer). These are placed in the Varilux light support with the cables and hoses fed inconspicuously through the openings in the back.

Filtration and heating are not included. We recommend an Eheim Professionel 4+ external filter and an Eheim Thermocontrol heater. Alternatively, for more convenience you could have an Eheim Professionel 4+ Thermo Filter which have a built-in heaters.
