Mulberry leaves come from Morus, a genus of flowering plants in the family Moraceae, consisting of diverse species of deciduous trees commonly known as mulberries which grow wild and under cultivation in many temperate parts of the world.

These mulberry leaves are organically grown and air dried. This method of drying preserves all nutrients in the leaf.

The minerals present, such as magnesium, iron and zinc, help shrimp build up the shell and assist with shedding.

Use:

  • Boil the leaves for 10 to 15 minutes, let them cool, and place them in the aquarium.
  • The leaves then sink to the bottom fairly quickly.
  • Use 1-2 leaves per 50L, replace when dissolved/decayed or eaten.

Mulberry leaves have an unlimited shelf life (when dried).
