J&K Trade Show 2023 Roundup
In October 2023, J&K Hosted the biggest and best brands in the aquatic and exotic pet trade
Over at The Venue @ Junction 24, J&K Aquatics hosted a two-day showcase of the latest and greatest products from the best brands in the business.
Setting Up
The day before the show, J&K transported various stands, stock and displays over from their warehouse to the venue and started assembling it all together. The main J&K stand consisted of several shelves showing the Betta Terra range for the very first time, as well as the Betta Choice Substrates, and other popular products in the Betta range. They even set up an area to display some of the best examples of rock and wood available from J&K, these were available for people to buy take back to their retail stores each day of the show.Catch a time lapse of the setup below.
PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS
With over 20 brands attending, and hundreds of new products on show we had to make sure we talked to some of the big hitters and learned what was coming next:Betta Terra
Betta Terra is the brand-new range of artificial plants and living wall which look just like the real thing, ideal substitutions if you want the look of some very authentic fauna without the maintenance and health concerns that come with putting live plants in with your reptiles.
With over thirty diverse kinds to choose from, there are plants available for all enclosures!

Ciano
Ciano are one of the most popular aquarium manufacturers out there right now, but they aren't resting on their laurels. At the show, Ciano displayed the newest additions to their aquarium range, the smaller En Pro 40, which comes with a modern design and a new range of colours, and the EN Pro 150, a massive 300L tank which is a real showstopper!They also revealed their new cabinet designs, featuring a black marbled effect cabinet that was extremely popular with visitors, as well as their new media bundles.
It's easy to see why the EN Pro 40 came second in our best new product voting!

Eheim
Eheim are known as one of the primary innovators in aquatics, and it's no surprise that the star of the show on their stand was the Eheim.digital range.Set up in Clearscape 73 tank, the Eheim.digital range consists of a series of Wi-Fi controlled products which can be adjusted from a smartphone or tablet. This includes a heater, auto feeder, filter, and LED lighting.
For tech enthusiasts, this is the future for aquariums.

Ceramic Nature brought along a aquascaper to do a dry scape in one of the Clearseal tanks at the show.Ritchie Newell, known professionally as Aquaman, has over 30 years' experience in aquatics and was gracious enough to do a scape for us live at the show!
