Like all our shop fits, they were built by Clearseal in the UK, a bespoke woodwork and glass product manufacturer based in Birmingham. Clearseal and J&K have been working together to build and install shop fits for a while, so we thought we’d highlight some of our favourite recent installations.
Bay Tree Aquatics - 2022
The shop fit team from J&K installed 12 bays into Bay Tree Aquatics in Lincolnshire in early 2022.
Mainly for coldwater and tropical fish, there is a nice plant tank too. The pipe work is plumbed in to the mains, allowing for automatic water top up, and automatic waste water disposal, making it quite a time saver! Also, the filter system has been put together to be capable of handling these tanks when they are packed full of fish with some capacity to spare.
It's a very smart and easy to use system that looks excellent in the shop, and is perfect for a wide range of tropical and coldwater fish, with smaller tanks for Siamese Fighters, and Shrimps, the ultra popular Neon Tetras and Guppies, and room for a few larger species too such as Fancy Goldfish and even some Oscars! Bright LED lighting, combined with the bright blue background sets off the appearance of the fish, making them really stand out to customers, and the plant tank houses a wide range of plants, for all aspects of tropical biotopes and trendy aquascaping customers.

Ely Exotics - 2023
Here is the swanky shop fit in Ely Exotics in Cambridgeshire. This 9 bay installation was self installed by Tom and his team, and features a new type of edging which has a nice black colouring. This shop fit allowed Ely to double the amount of tanks they had before allowing them to bring even more varieties of fish species to their customers. All in a way that is efficient to manage, and looks amazing in the shop.

Southern Aquatics - 2022
Southern Aquatics in Dorset needed a total refit of their old fish systems which added up to around 110 tanks. Clearseal built the bays and our able fitters (Steve and Darren) went in and quickly assembled the 270 nice and shiny new systems. This gave Southern more room than ever before to showcase all the different kinds of fish for their customers.
This was one of the biggest installs for our shop fit team in recent years, and they were able to complete it within days!
